高职院校英语教学EOP转向及其影响因素探究

摘要:本研究旨在探讨高职院校英语教学从通用英语(General English)向专门用途英语(English for Speciffc Purposes,ESP/EOP)转型的必要性、现状、机遇与挑战,并深入分析影响这一转型的关键因素。通过文献研究、问卷调查、访谈等方法,了解高职院校EOP英语教学的实践现状,识别转型过程中存在的瓶颈,并提出具有针对性的改进建议。研究结果将为高职院校英语教学改革提供理论支持和实践指导,助力培养符合社会发展需求的高素质技术技能人才。

Exploration of the EOP shift in English teaching in higher vocational colleges and its inffuencing factors

Abstract: This study aims to explore the necessity, current status, opportunities, and challenges of the transformation of English teaching in higher vocational colleges from General English to English for Speciffc Purposes (ESP/EOP), and to conduct an in-depthanalysis of the key factors inffuencing this transformation. Through methods such as literature review, questionnaire sur-veys,and interviews, we aim to understand the current practice of EOP English teaching in higher vocational colleges, identify bottlenecks in the transformation process, and propose targeted improvement suggestions. The research results will provide the-oreticalsupport and practical guidance for the reform of English teaching in higher vocational colleges, and assist in cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents that meet the needs of social development.
