Abstract: The “Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education (2022 Edition)” clearly states that the goal of in-tegrationand practice should be to cultivate students’ ability to comprehensively apply learned knowledge and methods to solve practical problems. It advocates interdisciplinary theme learning as the main way, guiding students to integrate multidisciplinary knowledge and methods through real and complex problem situations. This article is based on the concept of the new curriculum standard and combined with the actual teaching of primary school mathematics. It systematically explores the implementation path of interdisciplinary theme learning, including knowledge integration, task driven learning, activity design, and multi-di-mensionalevaluation. Taking “The Story of Weights and Measures” as an example, this article elaborates on how to enhance students’ mathematical literacy and comprehensive abilities through interdisciplinary thematic learning, providing theoretical support and practical reference for the reform of primary school mathematics teaching.
